By Michael Susten & Company (other events)

2 Dates Through Nov 23, 2014

ABOUT ABOUT

"Michael Susten creates beautiful and original work." Debbie Allen

Former director of Xhale Dance Company, emerging choreographer Michael Susten is beginning anew with a contemporary jazz company that represents his life in New York City, not only how far he has come, but where he wants to go. This second performance of Michael Susten & Company is an evening-length concert aptly titled “Fall" Heeding the warning and building shelter, to surrender. New works will be featured and there will be an element of live music, as well as the familiar piece “(Fe)malefaction” which has been showcased recently at the Jazz World Congress and APAP. Dorrell Wood has said about Susten’s choreography, “Mr. Susten is a choreographer who is unafraid to explore the dynamics of motion emotion, his choreography is athletic with a balletic overtone."

Mr. Susten is currently on the guest roster at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.
